A new year has begun!

2011 has arrived! It hardly seems possible that we’ve already been in Panama for 5 months! The new year’s coming fills us with hope and expectation. The preparation stage is finally closing and the time to sow and reap has begun! To think of all the wins and losses we will experience this year is overwhelming and we cannot even begin to imagine the wealth of progress we will be reflecting upon at this time next year. This is what we signed up to do!

Mostly, we take this time to reflect on all the wonderful people we have met over the past year who have chosen to take part in this dream we are living. We are grateful for each of you and the sacrifices you make to keep us on the ground working. May your coming year be filled with blessing and fruitful kingdom work!

Panama, here we are!

Well, folks, we have arrived safely in Panama! The nine bags we were allowed to bring also made is successfully and intact. We have already visited two car dealerships and have seen four homes, all in less than 48 hours! The Truman Family, fellow missionaries here, has been gracious enough to both house and feed us AND drive us wherever necessary to help us find a car and home.

Please continue to pray for us as we nail down these two all-important details. House hunting here is difficult as the prices are high and the space limited. We need to find the right place at the right price!

Thank you all for your prayer and support. We continue to see God’s provision daily.
